As I am still off the cigarettes but at the needing to stuff my face with cake and chocolate stage I am trying to keep hands occupied in evenings. Last night I made this bird pin cushion with a vintage lace mohican. The cushion is using up more of the old jeans and I used some of my felt and bakers twine from the Ribbon Girl. It is a present for a friend visiting today who has just started quilting and the bird is to match her quilt colours.
Love his mohican crest, fab pincushion! Well done on keeping off the cigarettes, keep going, I'm sure you can do it - think of all the extra cash you'll have to buy crafty stash with if you're not spending on ciggies!
